the gym includes three treadmills and two stationary bikes. breakfast took place in the gold room overlooking the gardens. the food options were fresh and extensive (i really liked the pastries!).
the bar was busy and finding a seat took a few minutes.

relaxing getaway with great amenities

i spent a wonderful afternoon at this place i had the iconic afternoon tea the details of the cakes and taste were divine. i especially loved the handbag-shaped cake and my own plate of sandwiches. the staff were attentive they looked after me so well. i had drinks in the courtyard bar afterwards it felt very relaxing.

the hotel room was clean i found it very comfortable. the gold salon is fine it provided a great atmosphere. the room provided a relaxing space for my stay i appreciated the quietness.

the hotel has amazing facilities the grounds are fine. i explored the christmas shop i discovered good value in chutneys and christmas puddings. the premises are amazing perfect for a walk to enjoy the views.

the grounds was beautifully maintained. wonderful walking routes were available on the hotel. the bedroom included a large bathroom with a bath and a separate, powerful shower.
I stayed for two nights and had an issue getting food one evening. we ate food in the bar that room service delivered. a manager approached us and berated us for eating in an area where eating was not allowed. This felt pretty pointless.

The historic hotel is gorgeous. I am thankful for the attention to detail evident everywhere. The surrounding parkland is beautiful. The staff's friendliness and professionalism.
I faced a minor inconvenience in accessing the dining area one evening. We were informed that no accomodations were available. This limitation slightly affected our dining plans.

i was very impressed with the cleanliness of the premises. the cocktail bar had excellent drinks and the restaurants were top notch. i particularly enjoyed dinner at kathleen's kitchen. the staff in reception were friendly and very professional, it was great
The check-in process was very slow. there were only two small desks for a large number of rooms. our tv did not work and we did not receive assistance after reporting the issue. there were stains on the chairs as well. It was disappointing

The resort has fine grounds. I especially enjoyed the beautiful walks available. The hotel rooms are quiet and comfortable. I also liked the lovely garden view with its own patio.
I found a lack of training among the staff. The breakfast service did not meet expectations. Staff walked around past dirty tables. The buffet seemed decimated, without being replenished.
