The Standard Room was adequately clean.
The coffee machine was inoperative the morning following my arrival. I reported this to reception, yet it remained unresolved upon my departure. I expected superior service. The pillows presented a disparity. Two were excessively soft, while the other two were excessively firm, i consider all pillows should be uniform.

The location was convenient near the central station.
I was annoyed to find the coffee machine in my room wasn't working the morning after I arrived (what a way to start the day). I did report this to reception, but it wasn't fixed when I left. I also found the pillows on the bed too varied. There were two VERY soft and two VERY firm, a small issue. The tv reception had slight interference. It would stop and start.

The staff at reception were great and very friendly. i found the room beautiful and spacious, also very comfortable. the location was perfect. It was close to the central station, which simplified travel. i really appreciated the quick access to transportation.
the room was decorated strangely with electricity cables poorly integrated into the ceiling. there was also a control box visible outside the curtain pelmet, which looked strange. the lack of proper cable management detracted from the overall aesthetic.

the hotel featured ongoing refurbishment, but this did not cause significant issues. a temporary entrance was in place, and it was clearly marked. despite the work, noise levels remained minimal, a positive aspect.

breakfast had a good variety, but i noted limited vegetarian hot options. i found it difficult to get the attention of staff in the bar area. service was generally slow, and tables needed clearing more frequently.

The standard room was spacious with a large, comfortable bed. the bathroom was also quite roomy. i appreciated these aspects of the room. a spacious bathroom. Added to the convenience.

The staff was attentive. The room was spacious and comfy. I found wine glasses. The location is great, so close to the train station and the city center.

The staff quickly provided extra amenities when I requested them. The reception staff was efficient. Michelle remembered me by name from previous visits. Karen at the restaurant reception is friendly and helpful too.

The room was beautiful and looked away from the main road. The shower was AMAZING!!! It was stocked well with towels and dressing gowns. The staff were great, from check-in to bar and restaurant service. Michelle, the front of house manager. She was polite and helpful.

faulty tvweak water pressure
The TV wasn't working properly. It kept freezing and showing a blank screen. I had to wait ages for it to work, really annoying because I just wanted to relax after a long day. the water pressure in the shower was awful, it was barely a trickle. I've had better showers in hostels. This is not what I expect.
