a charming stay
clean hot tubtemperature controldaily cleaning
the hot tub was clean upon arrival. the temperature control worked well. staff cleaned it daily.. it was one of the best kept hot tubs i have encountered. i easily adjusted the temperature to my liking.
i found limited hanging space available for wet coats.

the site features tranquil lakes and trees. birds and wildlife are abundant in the area. a picnic table is available outside each lodge.

bath towels provided felt luxurious and soft. the kitchen had adequate crockery and cooking utensils. a fridge freezer and a microwave were both present in the two-bedroom lodge, useful.

some issues impacted the stay
broken hot tubhigh wifi pricing
the hot tub was not fully functional. a piece was taped on and came off quickly. the wifi pricing was also quite high. we paid extra for a lodge with two beds, but only one was made up. the shower pressure was inconsistent.

charmed stay at tranquil haven

the 1940s event impressed me this year. re-enactment groups covering even the axis powers offered an interesting perspective. vintage clothing stalls and a bbmf flypast added to the authentic atmosphere. the staff were cheerful and very much engaged, that enhanced the overall experience.
