the receptionist offered smiles and a warm greeting upon check in. the refurbished room featured a modern bathroom with a huge walk in shower. it was spotlessly clean with ample storage and individually controlled radiators.
the evening menu was significantly reduced in the restaurant. it was pre christmas, and party nights were happening. this limited our dining options in the hotel.

The staff were friendly and efficient. i especially appreciated the comfy leather armchairs in the bar. my room had an amazing bed. It felt both firm and soft. the location was great, and the large car park was very convenient.
i noticed a slight lack of vegan options in the restaurant, so i dined out.

The hotel offers free car parking. It's a great convenience. Staff members were super friendly, and the facilities seemed good. The breakfast included a very tasty selection of hot food. It was of good quality.
The room showed some signs of wear, it could use some upgrades.

the breakfast was plentiful. everything was okay, i suppose.
The open waste pipes in the men's toilets were quite something. i'm pretty sure open waste pipes aren't usually a standard feature. also, i found the parking completely uncontrolled. I had to find paid parking elsewhere.
