beautiful groundslovely decor

i stayed in a double room terrace for two nights! the grounds are beautiful and worth exploring. i especially enjoyed the library with its lovely décor and the grandfather clock.

the temporary reception area was not clearly marked.

the staff was mostly friendly i guess.

The room was pretty disappointing. The carpet had some dubious stains. i asked for new towels, but that was like pulling teeth. plus, the window looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages, cobwebs and all. Not exactly the view i was hoping for.

The building had lovely grounds, perfect for an idealistic walk. the room included nice decor that kept the hall's original era. the staff offered a warm welcome. I found it tender.

The room lacked proper soundproofing. I constantly heard noise from adjacent rooms. The advertised high-speed internet was unreliable at times. Staff response to issues was slow. I felt my concerns weren't adequately addressed. I expected more attention to detail given the hotel's rating. the experience left me somewhat disappointed.
