the location was acceptable, putting me close to attractions.
the black out curtains were insufficient, something i found frustrating. daylight streamed into the room during long daylight hours, disrupting sleep. i should have brought an eye mask.

The hotel sits in a fantastic location. It's so central for exploring. there are fantastic restaurants within walking distance. the actual hotel has an art deco feel. It has a touch of luxury. the staff brought me a jug of coffee when they wanted to close so i could finish it.
Tea and coffee facilities were not good compared to similar priced options. there was a nightlight i could not switch off. I needed to cover it in the room

This hotel is located in a fantastic spot. it is based downtown and is central for exploring the local area. Picking up buses for tours is easy. i could walk to the harbor and shops quite easily

Molton brown toiletries were provided. I also found a dressing gown and slippers. a proper hairdryer helped a lot, as did the fridge. the hotel has an art deco style. It felt pretty luxurious to me.

the location is central i could walk to most attractions. breakfast was included and had good variety. the staff at the front desk were helpful when i needed directions.
my room faced an inner stairwell i did not have much natural light. the hotel bar closed relatively early it was difficult to get a late-night drink. the black out curtains were not thick enough the room never really got dark.

I enjoyed the updated, modern decor inside a historic building. That was lovely. The room upgrade was worth it, AND the central location proved convenient. Breakfast offered friendly staff and amazing food. The hotel provided convenient access to shops, bars, and restaurants nearby.
The shower's operation posed some difficulties. the button controlling the water was notably hard to push.
