wonderful stay!

great staff wide choice moroccan style clean bedding

the staff offered assistance starting with meeting at the parking area to helping with bags through the market. the breakfast was excellent (especially the wide range of choices!). the decor featured a blend of traditional moroccan style and vintage musical memorabilia. the riad also felt very clean. i found the bedding comfortable.

The location requires walking through narrow streets. This might feel uncomfortable at night for some solo travelers.

charming riad

convenient spot warm character

i loved the location near Place Mellah, a convenient spot for taxis to the nouvelle ville. The medina was also easily accessible by walking. The riad's decoration is interesting with many objects giving it a warm character.

cold breakfast area sharp edges

The breakfast area was quite cold. The temperature seemed like it was only about 15° or 16°. Sharp edges on the stairs leading to the sleeping area in my room caused some minor injuries. The bathroom seemed outdated. Heating was not available there, disappointing.

warm smile valuable advice talented chef rooftop dinner

the staff was cute! imad and houcine offered valuable advice, and simo always greeted me with a warm smile. fatima is a talented chef, every meal tasted delicious. i found the rooftop dinners particularly wonderful. the hammam was rejuvenating, i suggest scheduling one at the beginning and end of your stay.

The narrow streets leading to the hotel felt a bit daunting at night. I would have preferred brighter lighting along the path.

delicious breakfast thoughtful map dark location privacy invasion

The breakfast was so delicious and the omlettes stole my heart, it really did. i loved how comfortable the beds are. It seemed like i was floating on a cloud. the staff greeted me upon arrival and they were friendly and informative. i find the small map they gave me quite thoughtful too.

As a traveler alone, i did feel uncomfortable with the riads location. traveling back to the riad at night was something i worried about. i also didn't like that they entered my room when i wasn't there. That was like an invasion of privacy.
