very enjoyable experience
polite staffquiet roomsvaried breakfastunderstaffed hotel
i found the staff very polite. they always asked how they could assist. the rooms were quiet. the breakfast selection had many options. i did like the 5-minute walk to the philharmonie. potsdamer platz was only 10 minutes away.
the hotel was understaffed. i noticed it in several areas. it impacted service a bit.

the hotel is conveniently located close to several embassies. this provides a sense of security. it is about a fifteen-minute walk to the nearest metro station. the immediate area is relatively quiet and business-focused.

breakfast choicecomfy loungeunderstaffed reception
The breakfast buffet had a huge choice. It was great. the room was spacious and comfy. i enjoyed sitting in the lounge, drinking coffee while listening to the piano and looking at the christmas tree.
the reception seemed understaffed. it was impossible to reach anyone by calling from the room. in-person visits required a 10-15 minute wait in the queue.

The front desk staff was very helpful, especially maria. she showed wonderful hospitality . they offered late check-out for loyalty club members, which i appreciated a lot. I found this very convenient.

ineffective air conditioningbad beds
the air conditioning in the rooms wasn't very effective. the rooms were quite warm. perhaps it needs replacement. also, the beds weren't good. i didn't sleep well any night. i felt broken the next morning.
