expensive stay with some letdowns

awful plasterbathroom mold

i paid quite a lot for two nights, and it wasn't worth it. the plaster work in the room looked awful, especially around the window. also, i spotted mold and dirt in the bathroom drainage. for what they charge, these things shouldn't happen.

Really good Anniversary Celebration

We celebrated our anniversary slightly earlier this year. We were upgraded to the Presidential Suite upon arrival, a pleasant surprise. The suite included a piano and its own dining room, where we enjoyed breakfast one morning.

The bed in our room felt too hard for comfortable sleep. A softer mattress would improve the sleep experience.

Mixed Experience at a High Price Point

The staff members at the gatehouse and reception were professional. They were also friendly.

I found that the service at the main hotel bar was lacking. After being given water, I was seemingly forgotten, and my husband had to go to the bar to place our order. A Guest Experience Manager informed us about transport to 88 in the hotel Bentley. It was raining heavily when we headed to dinner, but the porter offered an umbrella, only reluctantly providing the car upon request. This small detail should not have been a problem at this price.

the hotel room included complimentary gin and chocolates upon arrival it was a pleasant surprise i stayed in the main house with greater convenience than the fountains wing. the breakfast selection was superb it was freshly cooked and catered to various preferences.

the hotel bar service was slightly inattentive after i got water my order was forgotten a minor inconvenience but noticeable.
