underwhelming experience at a pricey hotel

slow serviceunexpected charge
I wasn't impressed with breakfast. the selection felt limited, and some items seemed past their best. service was slow. Staff didn't clear tables efficiently and seemed unattentive. the advertised spa access came with an extra charge i didn't expect, feeling unreasonable for a hotel charging so much.

My room upgrade to a junior suite offered views of the palace. The staff was amicable during breakfast and for evening drinks. The service was amazing . I found the breakfast venue provided an excellent start to the day, with a wide selection.
The stylish bar was often crowded making it difficult to find a seat.

The junior suite includes soft bedding and a functional coffee machine. Air conditioning worked well. A comfortable bed allowed for a good night's rest, while the newer part of the building helped minimize any outside noise.

The room was comfortable and well appointed. The hotel's location on the waterfront offered lovely views. I also found the staff consistently friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile.
The pool area required a fee for hotel guests, which I found excessive. Breakfast service was average, with a limited choice of fresh fruit. I expected more from a hotel of this supposed level.
