Acceptable stay with issues

worn furniturebar appeal
The furniture was somewhat worn. The bar lacked appeal. There was no suitable area to relax in the evening. I also found a concerning amount of limescale in the kettle, it really needs a deep clean.

Charmed by Doxford Hall's Elegance

The chef expertly accommodated my dietary needs. I REALLY appreciated that. Claire in the dining room paid close attention to my needs as a disabled guest. She was so attentive. The hotel maintained a high standard of cleanliness, especially evident in the well-kept gardens.
The indoor pool felt smaller than expected. It only had two changing cubicles. I think adding some shelves in the shower to hold toiletries would improve convenience.

The breakfast was quite good. I suppose that is something.
I booked a 'Superior Double Room', but found it rather disappointing. The room was dusty. I also found a used tissue, good. The hotel seems to be skimping on basic cleaning.
