a birthday dream
friendly staff champagne afternoon delicious treat
we recently celebrated my husband's birthday at this hotel and felt so welcomed.. every staff member was attentive, always ready to help. the champagne afternoon tea in the manor house was such a delight, with amazing champagne and delicious treats. we felt pampered and celebrated throughout our stay.
i noticed that the reception area has been relocated, which wasn't clearly marked. arriving in stormy weather, we initially went to the old entrance with all our luggage and walked a fair distance to the new reception. better signage could definitely improve the arrival experience.

the canopy restaurant offered an excellent experience with a very varied menu.. the food was prepared to perfection and the service was attentive without being intrusive. the baked alaska dessert stood out as a must-try item.

our room was spacious and beautifully decorated, filled with lovely natural light. the bathroom was gorgeous too.. it featured high-end fixtures and thoughtful design elements. the hotel maintained excellent cleanliness, and the communal areas were well-kept.
