rope bridgefriendly staffproper gym
i stayed for several nights and enjoyed the unique features. the rope bridge added a fun element, and the natural pools were a nice touch. the staff was friendly, and always greeted me warmly and asked about my day, which i found quite personable. given were very good too assist with my bookings and tour guide contacts.
the hotel lacked a proper gym. i love to work out and a small, well-equipped fitness center would have significantly enhanced my experience. there were no designated facilities for exercise.

breakfast offered good variety. i found many choices. it was like dining in a restaurant, with everything presented beautifully. there was plenty of fresh fruit available each morning and a selection of pastries.

the gardens surrounding the hotel included hidden gems. i discovered a wood-fired hot tub and a padel ball court. walking through the garden and forest revealed surprises around every corner such as the spa pods and indigenous plants.

The service was a bit slow. It lacked attention to detail. i expected more for the room price. the lack of urgency was noticeable!

The staff offered friendly service. The gardens are beautiful. The hotel had access to camps bay beach. I particularly enjoyed the rope bridge. I found a tree swing, a fun, playful addition. The natural pools were quite refreshing.
My minibar was empty upon arrival, and it wasn't refilled .

the breakfast was amazing. i particularly loved the fresh fruit selection and the pastries. the location is special with fine views from the main manor, it's something you have to see to believe.
The restaurant staff seemed less cute. It reminded me of we were bothering them when we dined there. the mini bar was empty when we arrived and never got refilled .

i found the restaurant somewhat limited. the buildings containing the rooms had poor sound insulation. i could hear everything happening around me with the neighbours. this lack of privacy detracted from the overall experience, which i found quite disappointing. i expected better considering the hotel's reputation.
