underwhelming service overshadows potential

slow check-inforgotten cake
the check-in process was surprisingly slow. despite several staff members at the desk, it took over an hour to get to my room (i was pretty tired, you know?). also, the promised birthday cake, arranged prior to my arrival, never materialized, a bit disappointing given the occasion. i mean, who forgets a birthday cake?

the breakfast buffet include many options. the pool area had plentiful sun loungers, it was never difficult to find a spot. the staff at the beach were quick with service for drinks and towels.
check-in took a while as only one person could assist. the resort view room looked over a parking garage. my birthday wasn't acknowledged upon arrival, a let down since i mentioned it.

room service delivered used mayonnaise with our order, concerning. the directions to the maison revka pool were unclear, leading to a restricted area where security was impolite.
