the building is beautiful. the staff, it was spot on. the food was excellent and spa facilities was great.
there was no offer to help with our luggage, so i had to navigate the outside slopping path to our room instead of the stairs. tables were far too small, so juggling plates, glasses and other things was stressful.

Romantic Getaway

welcome drinkample parkingunique experience
The check-in process was smooth. I received a welcome drink upon arrival and was pleased with ample free parking. I spent some time watching a beekeeper tending to hives around the grounds, such a unique experience before exploring more of the hotel (it was like stepping into a fairytale!). The high-quality bath products from Gaia Spa elevated the experience.
The wi-fi signal was somewhat weak and occasionally dropped in the room, though it worked fine in the main building.

Service is flawed despite appearances

faulty windowinsufficient breakfast
My room's door didn't lock properly, a detail I find concerning. The window also failed to close. I also heard guests express similar disappointments with the service. Breakfast was a shambles. I saw empty serving dishes and a paltry selection. The waitress was slow to restock items. I observed people were visibly frustrated.
