Our water villa was beautiful. It included a jacuzzi. All of the staff were very polite and ready to help. Our concierge, Mihoo even joined us on a snorkeling trip. She was very attentive. The hotel allowed us to extend our check-out from noon and provided us with a room in the villa to relax in for the day. This meant we were able to enjoy the pool before our 10 PM flight.
The food was disappointing. There was barely any choice for the all-inclusive drinks, many items cost extra. The transfer fee was too expensive. We paid $160 per person for a shared speedboat that lasted 15 minutes. The snorkeling gear was often unavailable and minibar rules were very strict. I was only allowed to take out two drinks each day.

I celebrated my birthday there and it was wonderful. The location is only a short speedboat ride from the airport. The staff are very nice. Buffet options at the Lagoon were delicious with live cooking.
The island lies directly under the flight path of departing planes! Expect loud aircraft every 10-20 minutes throughout the day. The sand is coarse and filled with coral pieces. The evening programs are repetitive.
