The dinner service was definitely a letdown. I found the food quality was not as high as expected considering the price. The lamb dish seemed overcooked and rather tasteless.. I was surprised that several items on the menu required an extra charge. The additional service charge felt excessive too.

The continental breakfast included a good selection of items. Freshly cooked hot breakfast was AVAILABLE. I used the spa twice , it was a clean area with a LOVELY view from the hydrotherapy pool.

The dinner menu did not change throughout the season.

The food quality did not meet expectations. Broccoli was discolored and tasted off. The chicken looked grey. Potatoes were an extra charge. A SERVICE charge was added, even when I poured my own drinks at the bar. This felt unfair.

the room included a balcony. it provided a good view of the river and the country. breakfast and dinner included really good food, i find them of 5-star quality. the staff were friendly, they are very attentive.

i did notice the spa had limited capacity. it only had four spots on heated beds.
