the rooms are always beautiful and i find the service perfect. i requested the hotel limousine to haneda and the email exchange was quick and efficient. i enjoyed the buffet breakfast at orchid and there were no overcrowding issues
the front desk staff could improve i encountered during check-in. the check-in procedure felt clunky and confusing. i felt as though i needed to show my passport multiple times to different staff members and it made me feel uneasy

the hotel's gym and spa zone included saunas and hot baths. i appreciated the blackout curtains and comfortable beds. the bathtub also had a great view! the rooms were large and included fine views.

grumpy staffinflexible policy
I found the bar service rather casual. It was disappointing. the staff seemed grumpy, even though he was young. i expected a bit more enthusiasm, though maybe i'm just too demanding, but it wasn't the service i expected from a place like this! the storage policy was inflexible. They wouldn't keep our bags for the whole trip to kyoto.

the breakfast was fine , but the coffee was cold. the gym, while large, had very few weight machines and several were out of service. i also requested a specific newspaper each morning , and it never arrived. this was REALLY disappointing. there were no apologies or follow-up from the staff.
