minor hiccups at a premium price

faulty tvearly check-in
the location is undeniably central. however, i faced some issues. upon arrival, i discovered the in-room tv was completely non-functional (bit of a letdown, really). also, the promised early check-in didn't materialize, resulting in a bit of a wait. there were also some bright leds that stayed on all night.

the guest relations team helped set up everything to surprise my partner. jill especially were really nice, exceeding every expectation i held. the location chosen for the engagement and the room itself were both fantastic. the personalized touch from the hotel staff made a difference.
this lacked the initial impact one expects for a hotel of this calibre. it somewhat diminished the arrival experience. the alternative entrance was not as grand or cute.

the hotel staff helped me with the engagement surprise. jill from guest relations was so great. the breakfast had tiramisu and a chocolate fountain.
my bed linen was never changed. the room service returned my clothes wrinkled. a festival outside made the location noisy.

attentive stafflovely touchnoise issues
the staff were attentive and friendly. the complimentary hot chocolate was a lovely touch. i liked the leaving gifts as well.
I experienced some noise issues. The rooms are not adequately soundproofed. i could hear conversations and footsteps from adjacent rooms throughout the night, which affected my sleep.
