excellent sizeseparate showersperfect air conditioning
The room SIZE was excellent. It allowed plenty of space to relax. i also appreciated the availability of two showers in the bathroom. the air conditioning worked PERFECTLY, the room remained cool and comfortable throughout my stay.
the sun beds near the pool looked a little bit old.

mixed feelings about my stay

I'm not thrilled. The room wasn't exactly pristine. i spotted some suspicious stains on the carpet, which, you know, wasn't the highlight of my stay, and one of the lamps looked like it had seen better days. also, the air conditioning unit sounded like a jet engine trying to take off. It made sleeping a bit of a challenge.

the staff provided warm greetings upon arrival and quickly stored luggage to allow for immediate exploration. the hotel manager, pedro, gave a detailed tour with historical insights and showcased the spa. the room featured electronic drapes and a large balcony overlooking the pool.
i noticed a lack of available outlets in the wardrobe, especially near the tea and coffee facilities. the provided instant coffee seemed out of sync with the hotel's overall quality. addressing this small detail would enhance the guest experience.

The terraces and pool were excellent. A convenient walk of approximately 500 meters led to the main shopping and dining area. guests can easily access the city center from the hotel.

the bar service at the pool was really inconvenient. i had to go upstairs myself to order drinks (this happened in 2024-08-10). then, the waiters even asked me to carry my own drinks to the pool area. it felt odd for a hotel in this category. also, the breakfast buffet was not as good as i remembered from previous visits (i have stayed for 3 nights). it didn't stand out compared to other hotels i usually visit.

The breakfast buffet provided a decent selection of food.
The pool area was far too crowded. Guests from a cruise ship occupied many of the facilities. They seemed prioritized over longer-staying guests. There were not enough sunbeds, and some guests reserved them early, only to leave them unattended for extended periods of time.
