the staff were friendly and helpful.

I was excited about the spa, but it was not free. It cost €20 for a 1hr booked slot. the restaurant was fully booked, so i had nowhere to eat that evening. the hotel's website misled me about the spa facilities.. i felt really frustrated by the situation.

Wonderful hotel and spa stay

friendly staff mountain view quiet room nice pool

The staff was very friendly and super helpful. They allowed us to keep the same room. It had an amazing view of the mountains and forests. The room was quiet during the night. I experienced great insulation on the door and window. The outside pool was really nice. It was amazing to see Mont Blanc and the mountains. I enjoyed relaxing on the lounge chairs.

The train station was a short walk AWAY! though sometimes, i found the train schedule a bit INCONVENIENT.

great breakfast nice views heated boot room incorrect information closed restaurant inaccurate details

The breakfast had great options and the views were nice. The hotel had a heated boot room for ski equipment. The bus station was SUPER close to the hotel.

I was advised the restaurant would be closed on certain nights. The information was not correct because it was closed . We had to find other places for evening meals!

limited hours noise level

i find a certain dissatisfaction regarding the limited hours of operation for the hotel bar. it close early leaving guest without an option for nightcaps. the noise level from adjacent rooms are also a significant issue. i could hear conversations and other disturbances affecting my ability to rest.

train tracks shower maintenance

The room lacked air conditioning. This. The proximity to the train tracks also was not ideal. I could hear trains frequently. The outdated shower needed better maintenance since the showerhead dripped constantly. The noise and temperature detracted from an otherwise acceptable experience. I expected a more restful environment for the price.

I loved the pool. it was so refreshing after a long day of hiking. breakfast offered a great variety of choices. I especially enjoyed the fresh pastries. the staff was always ready to help.
