staff were friendly, I guess. Breakfast had cava, so that's SOMETHING.
The chicken burgers at the pool bar were basically mcdonald's nuggets. WHAT kind of five-star hotel serves mashed chicken like that? I really think it should have been breast.

the staff IS excellent. there WAS a great selection of gluten free products available at breakfast. i appreciated the fun aqua gym sessions led by laura and arnau. i found the overall cleanliness exemplary.
queuing to get into the restaurant WAS sometimes a bit of A pain. it would improve the experience if this could be addressed.

the hotel is about AN hour from barcelona. there IS a train track that runs along the coast. one must use an underpass to access the beach.

extra feeunacceptable policy
the spa demanded an extra fee. i think this is really not acceptable at a supposedly five-star hotel. children were not allowed in the spa. this meant there was basically nothing for them to do when the weather was bad.
