the room did not have a balcony. i booked a double room with a balcony. after complaining, i was told that the hotel was fully booked.

the breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. the breakfast room is bright. food was replenished quickly. the pool area is new in appearance, and the pool was being completely refurbished.

The noise! I swear, not a single night passed without doors slamming or folks yelling. There a big gap under the room door, hard floors echoed, and sound-proofing was a joke. the decor looked tired, with black mould around the shower and sink. Oh, joy.

the staff at breakfast were very kind and the breakfast had plenty of fresh options. the room was a good size with a massive bed and a fridge. the pool was very relaxed and the gym was well equipped. i found the food very good.
i noticed there was no english tv, it was not a problem because the weather was good. i could see it becoming a problem with bad weather.

the reception staff provided a pleasant and courteous email response to my late arrival notification, ensuring a smooth check in. the general atmosphere created was warm and the team were eager to help, though the pool attendant was a little overzealous about towel use. generally everything ran smoothly.

the pool area offered a relaxed setting and was well maintained, though the adult pool could be slightly bigger with a better sun position. the gym featured adequate equipment. the hotel's location suits golfers, though others may find a car useful for exploring the area.

My room was spacious, with a large bed and fridge. the bathroom had both a bath and separate shower. the room was immaculate and the bed very comfortable. I slept well. however, there were limited tv channels in english.
