Acceptable Stay
great breakfast excellent location stuffy room cold items
The staff at check-in and check-out were lovely. Breakfast in the restaurant was great, and my room was very clean. The location was excellent. It was right across from Southern Cross and tram stops around the corner.
The room was a little stuffy, some fresh air would have been nice. Some of the hot items were cold and it's all cramped in too small a space.

Underwhelming Stay, Some Issues
shower design limited tea
The shower design was... questionable. I unintentionally flooded the bathroom because the shower screen's coverage was insufficient. the tea selection was rather limited. Only two English Breakfast tea bags were provided, and sadly, they weren't replenished . I'm unsure what the housekeeping staff were doing. Maybe they were on strike?

the location was very central. i easily accessed transport and other facilities. the staff were helpful.

unwelcoming staff bathroom flood
The hotel's location near the Southern Cross train station was acceptable.
The staff was NOT cute. The shower in my room flooded the bathroom. That was completely unacceptable. The two beds pushed together instead of a proper double felt cheap.

the savoy twin room had comfortable twin beds. the breakfast was good (especially the variety of pastries). the hotel is near southern cross station, made transport easy.
i noticed the wardrobe had some dust.

fresh food clean restaurant efficient staff
the buffet breakfast offered fresh food. the presentation was nice, and the restaurant was clean. the staff was friendly and efficient. the location is opposite the train station. there are also trams nearby.
the stale smell in the room was noticeable and could be improved with an air freshener.
