RELAXING STAY
friendly welcomelarge portions
The leisure facilities are good, i found the pool and hot tub very enjoyable. The breakfast was plentiful, with large portions and plenty to eat. I also appreciated the friendly welcome from jamie during the evening and at breakfast, he was very helpful. The room was spacious and clean.
The rooms look old, though they are reasonably comfortable. The outside of the hotel looks a bit abandoned too. It feels like it could really use some work.

The bedroom had a lovely balcony. The reception staff stored our cycles securely, a very helpful service. I swam in the pool and found the facilities well-kept.
The hotel seems a little old and could use a modernization.

The hotel is in an excellent location for visiting local attractions. the staff were friendly and helpful . plentiful parking was available. I never struggled to find a space. breakfast offered plenty of choices and set me up well for the day.
the decor is a bit dated in some areas, but it didn't detract significantly from my visit.

The breakfast included a generous selection. I especially liked the quality cooked items. The location is great for walks along the coast. A snooker room provided a fun activity.
The entrance needs attention. I observed bird droppings on the pavement near the entrance. The spa area was grubby. I saw muddy tiles around the pool.

The room needed more attention. the balcony had bird droppings and weeds. inside, the bathroom was quite outdated with a large bath but a small shower. the tv was also small and oddly placed near the floor. i expected more for the price i paid. It seemed like corners had been cut.

The spa was lovely. I tried the jacuzzi, the pool, and the sauna. The garden is beautiful. Both the front and rear gardens are well kept. The breakfast was great. I especially liked the mushrooms.
My room was spacious, with a sofa, TV, kettle, hairdryer, balcony, USB chargers by the bedside. The room got very hot from the July sunshine, and the ceiling fan didn't help much. Air conditioning is needed.

The evening meals were very good. All the young waiters were friendly, cheerful, and helpful. I enjoyed having after-dinner coffee in the lounge. The large breakfast had plenty of choices.
