the temperature panel was overridden. i couldn't control the room temperature. i had to ask them to re-enable it. this should have been working, not my problem. it did take some of what would have been a decent stay off for me. that's unacceptable at this price point.

The front of house team greeted me warmly upon arrival. They guided me seamlessly throughout my stay. I enjoyed a cocktail on the terrace (it was expertly crafted!). The complimentary guest pantry was also a lovely touch.

great selectionsmall roomdim lighting
The pantry had a great selection of treats. It was a nice touch after a long day.
The room was smaller than i expected. there wasn't enough space to comfortably open my suitcase (it was a constant obstacle). plus, the lighting was quite dim. It made applying makeup a real challenge.

a magical Getaway

very nice locationthoughtful detailcomplimentary pantrytiny room
The location is really very nice, right on the promenade. the style of the hotel showed absolute perfection. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated. the furniture plus beds and bedding all seemed divine. the complimentary guest pantry was such a lovely touch and such a treat.
the bedroom was tiny, i was upset with its size for the money i spent. £380 for a tiny room is too much. a larger space would have really enhanced my stay.

Wonderful and Quirky Stay

personal record player247 accesssuper comfy bedhelpful staff
The room included a personal record player, a very nice touch. The Pantry provided 24/7 access to treats. The bed was super comfy. Staff members were friendly and helpful. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them.
I found so much hair on the wall of the shower though the room was gorgeously decorated. It left a bad taste. The shower was cleaned after mentioning it at reception.

Staff members were friendly and had local knowledge. I had a chat with the barman on my return for a nightcap after a night out. The service was really excellent!
