The apartment had a fantastic balcony with a great view. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful . Daily room service kept everything tidy, and I appreciated that the room was very clean. I enjoyed the short walk to nearby shops and the beach.
The spa pool water was not sufficiently heated. Some buttons for the 'spa' effects did not work. It would have been better with functional spa features.

The pool was really cold, not fun. For swimming, especially since i was hoping for a dip. also, the gym equipment didn't work. it was quite a letdown. i mean. what is the point of having a gym if the machines are broken? we needed better maintenance and some heat in that pool.

the location was ideal with bars, restaurants and shops all close.
the cleaning staff did not changed the bed sheets , that was disappointing. the bathroom was not cleaned well and used cups and plates were left in the room.

I found the apartment very spacious. It had a comfortable bed. The staff provided excellent service across all hotel areas. Breakfast had great options.
The hotel did not provide water, tea, or coffee in the room. I expect this in a 4-star hotel. Tap water quality in Portugal is poor.
