Le Meridien Maldives Resort & Spa Kurendhoo, Kurendhoo

The spa at Le Meridien was truly a unique experience. I loved being able to see the marine life beneath me through the glass floor while I enjoyed a massage. The staff was professionally trained, and I felt completely relaxed afterwards. This was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful island.

Dining at Le Meridien was a highlight of my trip. The breakfast buffet at Turquoise offered a variety of delicious options including Indian and Maldivian dishes. I particularly enjoyed the freshly baked croissants and the very nice home-grown lettuce! Dinner at Tabemasu was a once-in-a-lifetime experience; the Teppanyaki was out of this world, and our chef Agus was fantastic.

I stayed in a Sunset Overwater Villa, and it was absolutely gorgeous! The privacy was perfect, and I loved the views from both the bedroom and the bathroom. I had the most very nice bath with an ocean view. Watching the sunset from our private balcony while enjoying a drink was simply lovely.

The available water sports were fantastic. I tried snorkeling directly from our villa and was impressed with the diversity of marine life. The diving experience with instructors Haden and Ping was lovely; they were patient and encouraging for my first dive. I even swam with turtles and saw various colorful fish! Highly recommend.
