uneven experience at this resort

awful beach smoking bans
i was frustrated the beach was not good it was full of seaweed i saw only one person in the ocean the entire week the resort is more of a pool resort i found they did not enforce smoking bans people smoked in public places and nobody stopped them it was quite disappointing

Some issues DETRACTED from the stay

watered-down alcohol seaweed-covered beach
The staff was friendly and helpful throughout the hotel.
The food quality was a letdown, I found it very mediocre. The alcohol tasted watered down, disappointing. seaweed covered the beach, I could not swim in the ocean.

separate sinks rainfall shower bluetooth system
I stayed in a Junior Suite Garden View. The room had two separate sinks. The rainfall shower worked well. I also liked the Bluetooth sound system in the bathroom.
The bar staff poured local brands, even if I asked for branded spirits.

the junior suite partial ocean view included two separate sinks and a rainfall shower. the resort grounds featured many palm trees and a pool area with numerous loungers. the service was consistently friendly throughout my stay. i found the staff accommodating to my needs.
the elevators had some minor maintenance issues.

Wonderful Anniversary Celebration

buffet food really good service
The buffet offered many food choices. Service was really good from the front desk to the servers. Alfredo and Mar entertained everyone with passion and joy! We loved our vacation, and will be back for sure.
I only put one person on it. Upon arrival, I was charged the highest rate per additional person since I was already at the hotel and had no option to cancel. This felt exploitative.

The room was superb and spacious, measuring 625 square feet. I had a nice view from room 2209. I would book this room again for future visits.

The complex layout is very nice with beachfront access. Drinks and food were delivered right to our cabana on the beach. Poolside service was also available for convenience.

The staff are a credit to the resort and are very attentive. Our butler, Gabo, was attentive. He provided good morning WhatsApp messages every morning. He included details of the day's activities.
