I loved the easy access for day trips. flora and elizabeth are helpful and lovely, and the porters were always super helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. the spa IS amazing. The gym facilities are well equipped. breakfast and dinner buffet offered great variety.

the hotel's location required a car, it was a minor inconvenience.

The hotel has 88 rooms. This made it serene and relaxing. the service was friendly AND efficient. it created a vacation ON the beautiful island.

i asked for my room not to be cleaned one day, but the cleaning lady still showed up at almost 3 in the afternoon.. really respecting that do-not-disturb policy there.

the breakfast buffet was acceptable, though not amazing (i've seen better, frankly).

I found a couple of issues. first, the noise from the cicadas was constant and quite loud. It really impacted the peace. second, the location requires a car. It is essential to have one, otherwise you are stranded. there are no sidewalks, so walking anywhere is pretty unsafe.

the bedroom was nice. a tv was in the room.

The food was more like a 3-star quality experience. i noticed wild cats roaming in the dining area. I have allergies. this felt unhygienic and not ideal for a five-star hotel. i paid extra for a plunge pool, but i was told the jets did not work and were just for show.

The buffet breakfast included many fresh choices daily. Gluten-free options were also available. Staff ferried us up the steep hill in a golf buggy and they were always cheerful. Our upgrade offered a sea and mountain view overlooking spinalonga island and it was very nice.

The room design had a good layout. The outlook was wonderful. The pool area and bar looked very well designed. I appreciated the hotel's provision of ample space by the pool with a good selection of bed types.

The breakfast buffet felt a little small considering the number of guests. I sometimes found it difficult to navigate the selection. Refills of items were slow. Staff clearly worked hard.

The room offered very nice views and all necessary amenities. Tasteful finishes were present, I enjoyed the outdoor private space attached to my room, it was super clean.

The hotel has a car park, made exploring the area easier, especially with Elounda village approximately a 20-minute walk away. The sea views from the hotel are magnificent, the hotel is in a calm area. Hiring a car is beneficial.
