excellent resort experience

helpful appgreat waterslidespacious room
the resort app helped greatly. i saw daily activities and restaurant information. the waterslides were a hit with my children. my garden view room was larger than expected. it had two double beds, a sitting area and a balcony.
the toilet in my room did not work consistently and water bubbled up out of the sink drain? i had maintenance come multiple times, but the issue continued.

the staff were very attentive, always greeting guests and assisting with any needs. they showed a genuine commitment to, and always providing timely support? the customer service was really excellent.

Breakfast had stews, chicken, and vegetables fried together. There were also stewed vegetables. i found these options quite strange for someone from the uk. however, the italian restaurant suited everyone in my family.

The resort has a variety of bars, and the drink choices are excellent. options included dos equis draft, indio can, and coors light can. Non-alcoholic options were also available. the entertainment team was very interactive with children.

a romantic escape

amazing pastaauthentic dishesgreat service
i must say, this place is special to me. the italian restaurant served amazing pasta dishes (i really enjoyed the carbonara!). we also had a good meal with authentic mexican dishes, including beef tacos and mango mousse. the staff was really good, especially alfredo, who provided great service and serenaded us for our anniversary.
the beach had a lot of brown seaweed when i wanted to swim, so the water didn't look very inviting.

The main pool was impressively large, with a comfortable water temperature, and we discovered a quieter adults-only pool, perfect for serene relaxation. the resort provides varied activities, including dance classes and beach volleyball. The animation team is warm and super fun. (joel is great!)

the hotel is situated in the hotel zone, approximately 45 minutes to an hour from cancún airport depending on traffic conditions, so transfers are relatively straightforward. while the location is convenient, it might be a bit removed from the main attractions.

the food in all restaurants was very good, but the buffet restaurant stood out for its excellent selection, presentation, and delicious flavors. the resort has many a la carte restaurants, but expect waiting times exceeding one hour, as a reservation system is not available.
