i appreciated the spacious lodge. fresh towels looked daily in the bathroom. i found the location very scenic with woodland walks available. i used the map provided at check-in to navigate the site easily.
the process of checking in took an extended amount of time. i observed multiple guests looking for staff to assist. i received no apology for the delay once someone finally arrived.

Matt and auluney provided pleasant and helpful service in the restaurant. Nothing seemed too much trouble! matt ensured our drinks were always topped up and provided special birthday service. i am grateful.

the hotel has multiple routes for walks that are fantastic. i noticed the main swimming area extension, a dry room for hair and makeup. extra hot tubs. the aesthetics on the way into the spa looked lovely!

Secluded Comfort and Spa Bliss

The Brontë 3 bed house was a delight. It felt nice and secluded, and it featured a great hot tub. The beds were amazingly comfortable. They ensured restful nights for everyone. I found the rooms provided ample space and a cozy atmosphere, great for our little getaway.
The shower's water flow was weak! It barely sprinkled from half of the shower head. I was not able to have a good rinse. The outside of the cabin looked dirty. I saw cracked paving stones leading to the door.

The Lake restaurant provides a lovely dining experience! Staff are friendly and helpful. They ensured we felt welcome. Lunch and dinner included a very drinkable red wine at an excellent price.

The cabin we booked was very spacious and very lovely. It was also very cosy, thus making it perfect for a girly night. I found that the room service was prompt. Requests were handled quickly and efficiently.

The manager Claire was cute. She guided us to a wonderful updated lodge, number 65. The lodge is surrounded by nature in a relaxing setting, and it had private seating to enjoy a drink and watch the squirrels play.

my cabin was fantastic. it included a hot tub, which i loved! very neat place and comfortable. breakfast was nice and filling before i set off for home. i will definitely be back!
i noticed that some tlc is needed in the dining room. i saw the night before rubbish on the floor there. also, the table was sticky when i sat down.

the restaurant visit proved disappointing. the sparkling water arrived without a glass. the bread seemed stale. the waiter did not address our complaints adequately, stating that he would inform the chef. mints do not compensate for poor food quality.
