Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
The Brehon Hotel is often praised for its spacious and well-appointed rooms, some recently renovated, offering comfortable beds and relaxing bathrobes. Its location is ideal for exploring both Killarney National Park, accessible on foot, and Killarney town, a short drive away. Guests appreciate the ample, free parking and the inviting lobby with fireplaces; however, a few have found the food quality inconsistent with expectations. A great breakfast selection and pool and gym facilities also contribute to a pleasant stay.

superb stay with spa package

relaxing optionsfull body massagecold staff
I stayed for two nights with the spa package included. i stayed in a heritage room. It was spacious and super clean with a large bathroom and tub. the leisure center is well equipped with many relaxing options. the full body massage in the anú spa felt sensational afterwards and i was very relaxed.
I was disappointed with breakfast. the staff seemed distant and cold, and some items were not replenished quickly. i had to ask multiple times for butter, and the jam was often empty. Staff should be more attentive to these details.

Mixed feelings about my stay

decent selectiontired decoroutside noise
The breakfast had a decent selection of items.
The room I received felt quite dated. The furniture was worn, and the overall decor looked tired (it did not match the photos online). The noise from outside was noticeable, especially early in the morning. It made it hard to sleep.
