excellent hotel with AMAZING staff

nice staff helpful staff amazing service
the staff were very nice and helpful. .!! i found they were attentive to my needs. i especially liked that the staff moved the pool umbrella to ensure i stayed in the shade. the hotel setting is out of this world too.
i found the beach a bit narrow.

The beach was a letdown. Lots of mud showed up in the water. the sand was coarse, not exactly the soft, white paradise i expected. the food for lunch didn't impress me much. I wished there had been a beach bar.

I stayed in room 101. it had a hot tub and a private garden. there were canopied sun loungers. i could walk on and off the beach directly from my garden. It was right in front.
the hotel location allowed for the quick access to the island's bustle, but it also caused some noise.

Acceptable stay with a minor letdown

mini-bar charge payment demand
The grounds were kept immaculate. I found this to be adequate.
The mini-bar charge as we left was a bit much. The reception staff rushed the taxi and demanded payment of BHT 200 for a coke and a water. I had paid for 3 further nights accommodation, but this was still demanded.
