mixed feelings about my stay

the staff were friendly and accommodating, which i guess is something.

The air conditioning unit was so loud it was hard to sleep. I practically needed earplugs. also, getting a sun lounger required waking up at an ungodly hour, since guests seemed to reserve them with towels and then vanish.

The breakfast was okay (the fruit selection was fresh).

I was disappointed about the noise in my room. I could hear everything from the adjacent restaurant next door and also the planes passing overhead on the nearby flight path.

I found some issues . the room had a musty smell, and despite the location, the noise from nearby clubs was quite bothersome late into the night. also, getting beach towels was a hassle. I often had to wait, and the process seemed disorganized. i won't consider returning.

the location IS perfect , WITH direct access TO the BEAUTIFUL beach. there ARE plenty OF shaded AREAS AROUND the POOL AND extending OVER the SAND. it's A short WALK TO chaweng BEACH road WITH many RESTAURANTS. the STAFF WERE amazing , ESPECIALLY LAI AND fern AT the TALAY restaurant , SERVING breakfast.

whenever I contacted the HOTEL WITH QUESTIONS , I received little INFORMATION. I WAS told DIRECT customers RECEIVED extras THAT i DIDN'T get.
