balanced stay with a few hiccups
friendly staff helpful staff good room gym accident jungle garden garden upkeep
the staff were very friendly and helpful. breakfast was nice, i ate it before 9 am and it was not too busy. the room i stayed in was good.
the hotel gym had an accident. the jungle garden was nice but could use some upkeep.

the location was excellent for reaching the train station, a short walk. a fridge was available in my room, a convenience i found very useful.
the elevator was quite small. it barely fit two people with luggage.

dated decor loose table
The room decor felt dated. i found the happy new year decorations on the wall strange! also, the bedside table was loose. the pool seemed messy. There were leaves in it.

mixed feelings about the stay
the hotel's location was quite convenient.. it allowed easy access to the city center.
the room decor felt quite dated and mismatched, it looked like it needed a refresh. the metalwork on the balcony looked a bit neglected and rusty. this prevented me from fully enjoying the outside space.
