A charmed stay, indeed
convenient locationclean roomwide variety
I appreciated the location, it allowed easy access to various attractions. The room was very clean. The housekeeping staff maintained it well. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options. I found something new each morning.

The gym was quite large with ample equipment. i noticed it had three treadmills. there were also several weight machines available and in good condition. the breakfast buffet was expansive. I enjoyed the variety.
The room service was sometimes slow. i ordered a club sandwich and it took nearly an hour to arrive. the minibar was not well stocked. It lacked several items. the television remote was missing, an inconvenience.

the gym was a good size with a wide variety of equipment i found plenty of options. breakfast was generous i found more than enough to eat. the entrance staff were friendly.
i noticed someone moved my belongings at the swimming pool it was odd. the bar manager spoke to me in a tone it was upsetting. the security gave her personal opinion it was not helpful.

the breakfast area had very attentive staff. Maria, Zwi and Nick are really welcomed guests. i found the location great in downtown. Quick taxi access was available to burj park and to the shopping center. The lounge on level 41 had a great burj view.
rooms show their age and needs a refurbishment.

The hotel has a gym open 24 hours. I found the recently renovated sauna and steam room facilities very pleasant. The room provided complimentary water, a nice touch. The hotel sent a fruit basket to my room (charming surprise!).
The pool staff were not very attentive.

The staff at the door were protective, advising on the best ways to navigate the city. They made sure taxi drivers knew I was a guest, which I really appreciated. The attentiveness was very personalized and helpful.

The club lounge access wasn't quite as seamless as i'd hoped. Every time i needed a drink by the pool, i had to trek all the way up to the lounge. not exactly poolside service, is it? also, the complimentary roses one evening felt a bit... theatrical. A simple chocolate on the pillow would've sufficed. i prefer my gestures less grand and more practical, especially at that hour.
