Solid Yosemite Stay

lodge atmospherecampfire smoreswood fireclose trails
i enjoyed the lodge atmosphere a lot and it worked well for families with kids. i saw there was a game room and campfire with smores. the fire pits used real wood and fire. trails were very close to the lodge itself.
the menu was small at the restaurant, and i thought the food quality wasn't high enough considering the hotel standards.
Rooms
9/10
the room included many shelves, towel rods, and countertop space, this helped keep things tidy. there were bins for items and a recycling bin in the room. it featured games and an alexa device.
Dining

the general store shop had an excellent selection of items. i liked that they kept places open for dining, this made things easy. i noticed it felt orderly and clean here.
Facilities

the facilities are nice. there were many activities for kids. the rec area had a large game room with a tree house inside, this was very cool. a heated pool added to the experience.
Location
10/10
the location has beautiful views of the mountains. the sunsets were gorgeous to watch. it was very convenient to the entrance of yosemite, i liked that a lot. it made trips into the park easy.

the lodge location is convenient (it is close to the park entrance).
the pullout bed in our room was unbelievably uncomfortable. the young staff did not handle problems well. there was a power outage upon arrival, and the staff seemed clueless.

the location saves hours a day driving, so it was acceptable.
the room wasnt very clean. i saw a sticky substance on the bedside cabinet and walls needed a sugar soap clean. thin walls are a problem, it sounded like an elephant was in the room above us. the air con was very loud and we switched it off to avoid shouting.
