beautiful view helpful staff great pools dirty room paint needed vacuum cleaner
I LOVED the location because it had a beautiful view. The staff was very friendly and helpful to me. I also enjoyed the pools because they were great.
My room was not very clean to me. I could see some paint needed, especially on skirting boards. The vacuum cleaner sounded bad and needs replacement.

Best Spot with Amazing Views!
great location ocean view wonderful restaurant beautiful smile
I loved the restaurant, Glasshouse. Our hostess greeted us each morning, it was really nice. Our balcony had a ocean view. I enjoyed it. The location is great. I loved the accommodation too. We were close to the ferry to Russell. This allowed us to enjoy an afternoon there.
The sky channels available were less than what I expected. This was my only tiny disappointment.

The hotel offers a large pool. This is on the first floor, just great. Four heated plunge pools are available. I liked this a lot. A large lounge area offers lovely views too. This helps.

The hotel has a sandy beach in front. This is different from the pebbly beach around the main wharf. It is a five minute walk to the ferry wharf. That is very useful. Cruises to the Bay of Islands are easy to catch from there. Awesome.

The room was large. It had everything we needed. The studio was spacious. I liked the services a lot. There was a balcony. The view to the bay was excellent from there.

mixed feelings at this hotel
cracked basin rusty hinges
the room seemed a little worn. the bathroom basin had a crack, and the kitchen cabinets were difficult to open because of rusty hinges. a shower over a bath feels outdated, and the shower flooded the bathroom floor. the tv only showed half of the sky channels even though the information book listed them all.
