I expected a bit more from this place. the tap water had a very low flow, it took ages to wash up. also, the air conditioning was noisy. Not great when you want a peaceful time in nature. it definitely didn't feel like a true 5-star experience to me.

The room included a safe. I found this really useful. the balcony provided a peaceful space. the breakfast had many choices. I especially enjoyed the laksa, i made myself.
The wifi only worked in the reception area, this was inconvenient. the transportation to the airport was early, i waited a long time. the tv switched on in the middle of the night. This was strange.

i stayed here recently to visit gunung mulu national park. the raised stilts supporting all buildings are a unique feature. every building was surrounded by rainforest, complete with wildlife sounds. the staff were always warm and cute, assisting with every request.
wi-fi was accessible only in public areas. it was not available within the rooms.

The facilities are excellent, specifically the spa and pool. i found the frequent transfers to the park headquarters very convenient. the staff were really good. They upgraded me to a beautiful suite. i tasted the sarawak laksa and it was one of the best i have tasted.
