Authentic Moroccan Riad Experience
attentive staff rooftop terrace
The staff was attentive and kind. They offered assistance with directions and local customs. The rooftop terrace provided a tranquil space. It was a nice spot to relax after exploring the city. I found the design to be very original in terms of local style.
The bathroom was a bit small for comfort. It was hard to move around without bumping into the door. Showering was difficult due to the limited space, inconvenient.

Breakfast was offered on the rooftop each morning. The selection was varied and tasted fresh, especially the local pastries. They served dinners, too. various juices, which I tried one evening. It was an excellent experience.

The room was very clean and designed with traditional Moroccan details. I liked the size of the room. It was great after a busy day. The bed was comfortable, though the pillows were slightly firm, I found them a bit too solid.

helpful staff great introduction faulty air conditioning small bathroom
the staff greeted me warmly. mohammed gave me a great introduction to the area with maps. he helped me plan a walk to the local bahia palace. the food was amazing!!! haytem, the waiter, was very chatty and friendly. he couldn't have been more cute. the riad provided me with a packed breakfast to take with me as i was leaving very early. this was a lovely touch.
the room i was allocated had a faulty air conditioning system. whenever i would use it, it would throw out a high level of humidity. all our clothes and bedding became damp to touch. also, the bathrooms were so small. i could not get up from the toilet without grazing past the door. the shower was tiny and very uncomfortable.

great location nice breakfast mold growth broken fan
The location is amazing and close to attractions. it is about a 10 min walk from the market. breakfast is so nice. They change it up daily, and the staff can not do enough for you! it is beautiful to have your breakfast on the rooftop in the sunshine
i didn't notice it straight away, but mold started to grow on the door of the bathroom. there was not any air circulating after we would shower. there is a fan, but it didn't work properly. the building is old, and the mold was not taken care of.
