central location spacious room smooth check-in
the location is central providing easy access to stone town sites. the room was spacious and super clean offering a quiet environment. i found the staff helpful upon my late arrival ensuring a smooth check-in process.
i experienced slow service in the restaurant perhaps due to it being low season. they lacked wine options despite the good food served which was quite disappointing

easy access good location constant disturbance unacceptable noise
The location was good, providing easy access to the surrounding area.
I found that the noise levels were unacceptable. I struggled to sleep due to constant disturbances both from inside and outside the building. This significantly detracted from the overall experience, and I would not return.

My room featured ample space and a comfortable bed. The staff displayed attentiveness and politeness . The hotel's location allowed convenient access to historical sites and the beach.
My room faced the road and traffic noise was noticeable at times.

authentic stay in stone town

perfect location rooftop terrace fresh seafood
The location was perfect for exploring stone town. It made getting to all the historical sites easy. the rooftop terrace offered great views. breakfast and dinner were delicious with yummy food. I especially liked the fresh seafood. the airport pickup i arranged with them was easy and reasonably priced. I used the same driver throughout my stay.

the building has colonial charm with verdant walls and unique architectural elements. there is a rooftop restaurant that provides views of the sea. a small pool contains a few sunbeds, so guests can relax by the water.

the reception staff was efficient and friendly. i appreciated the porter service because there is no lift. the general manager, maureen. her hospitality greatly enhanced my stay.
