i stayed one night in a superior double or twin room the beds were comfortable and the room felt clean. the valet parking worked very well at $45 for 24 hours. i phoned for my car and it came to the front quickly the next day.

the hotel provides pool facilities and a small gym the sauna and hot pool looked very appealing. valet parking is available though this does incur an extra cost.

the on site restaurant called portlander seemed quite nice for dinner and drinks. breakfast had various options even though there were no chicken choices besides eggs. room service is available at certain times.

the superior double or twin room included very cosy beds for a relaxing sleep. a bath in the bathroom allowed for a pleasant soak after a long day. the air conditioning allowed temperature control.

the hotel has a very convenient location close to the harbour area and its restaurants. it is also a short drive to the interislander ferry terminal. this makes travel easy to the south island.

the beds and bedding felt amazing.
The tv had issues, as it would frequently lose signal. It cut out for more than 15 minutes at one point! the room became very hot due to the aged air conditioning and lack of windows. i had to contact four different people to inspect the tv and ac.
