a peaceful retreat by the sea

The villa was fine, directly facing the sea. The private beach was very clean. i found the location secluded, a little walk from the main shops, though taxis were readily available. the staff's kindness was most notable, especially towards our young kids. I appreciated the restaurant's reasonable prices too.
The rooms, i noticed, are quite dark. I don't think any have a clear view of the sea, a slight letdown.

The suite had a deep bath and was nicely appointed. The deck had another bath. the artistically arranged swans even had a 'happy honeymoon' sign, i chuckled, despite our 54th anniversary. cleaning happened daily, and i found it very thorough!

The receptionists greeted us with drinks and coconut ice cream. They were amazing. every staff member was sweet and nice, helping with nearly everything they could. they accommodated late nights from our group. Everyone was helpful!

the hotel's spa includes 2 outdoor jacuzzi baths and an outdoor swimming pool with deckchairs. the resort had a private beach with sun shades and deckchairs. beautiful scenery and lush plants provided plenty of sitting space, though, i noticed a few stones on the beach.

The hotel is close enough to bars and restaurants, though a 30-minute walk to lamai is needed. nearby, i found coffee at lama coffee, excellent. it is a relatively handy walk to the shops. I liked the peaceful area! though the parking was expensive.

Our room was luxurious and clean. THE staff anticipated our every need, providing seamless service throughout our visit. The private beach felt secluded and offered a peaceful retreat away from the island crowds.
The limited vegetarian options on the dinner menu made it difficult to find diverse choices each evening. I hope they increase these!

The resort boasts a clean pool area, that remains quiet and well-kept. A beach bar provides lovely views for relaxed evenings, GREAT for food and drinks. The gym includes treadmills and strength training equipment.

the staff was friendly and supportive, a plus.
The rooms appear dark, and sea views seem unavailable from any room. i asked for an upgrade given my recent marriage, but it was denied due to the hotel supposedly being full. later, someone next to us complained and was offered an upgrade to the nuptial suite anyway. It looked like the other rooms.
