inconsistent cocktails chaotic buffet
The food quality was below my expectations (maybe i had too high hopes for a marriott). the breakfast buffet felt chaotic, with a lot of people and not enough staff. i also found the cocktails at the beach bar inconsistent. One day they were great, the next, not so much. it reminded me of the bartenders weren't properly trained on all the recipes (a bit of a letdown when you're trying to relax by the beach).

average stay with some issues.
poor breakfast selection old room
the pools were fantastic, plenty big enough for everyone.
the breakfast was a bit disappointing regarding selection. also, the staff seemed overwhelmed. the rooms are old with electrical connectors only on one side of the bed and an old water kettle.
