unavailable transfer confused service

I arranged a car transfer well in advance, however, on the morning of my arrival i was informed that no car was available. i had to take a taxi. at breakfast, a staff member scolded me when my focaccia got stuck in the toaster, despite my apology. the express laundry service advertised was met with confusion. It seems staff had never heard of it. these service failures were disappointing.

The building has character and spacious rooms. It really takes you back in time. the breakfast was superb, with fresh ricotta and locally produced honey. The best bacon and eggs i ever had. thermal facilities are amazing, and the atmosphere is so relaxing. I felt pampered.

The outdoor pool temperature was in the mid 30's. So it wasn't a refreshing dip, but it will be nice in cooler weather. the sun beds were very hard.

the beds provided good support, ensuring a restful night's sleep. the location was convenient, with the train station just a short walk away, i found connections to lucca and pisa easily accessible. breakfast offered a good variety, and the staff were friendly and helpful. i appreciated the quiet setting.

the reception team helped me book restaurants in nearby towns. the outdoor pool was heated and i enjoyed drinks from the bar nearby. i went back to my beautiful double room and had dinner in the outdoor seating area.

the village has very little to do without a car.
