The hotel offers spacious, clean rooms and a historic charm that many guests appreciate. The staff was responsive and helpful during my stay, but there were some issues with the amenities that need addressing. While the location was fantastic for exploring, the bathrooms leave much to be desired in terms of comfort and design. Overall, it's a unique experience but not without its drawbacks.

Staying at The Francis Marion was a delightful experience, with its rich historic charm and proximity to attractions. The rooms had a lovely vintage feel, though they were a bit smaller than expected. The service throughout my stay was generally commendable, but there were moments that could have been better. Overall, I found the dining at The Swamp Fox to be excellent, adding to the enjoyable experience.
