functional gym pleasant jacuzzi warm relaxation room
The spa facilities included a pool, a jacuzzi, a sauna, a steam room, and a gym. It had everything I needed. Helen gave me a wonderful back and neck massage. I will book another one soon. The relaxation room was warm. It had water beds and blankets.
The reception lacked sufficient information upon check-in. It would be helpful to receive more details upfront.

dated decor missing socket
the staff were cute (I appreciate that).
The main entrance doors opened and closed on their own because of the wind, and that was quite disturbing. our room wasn't accessible via a lift. It involved six steps down. the room had dated decor, and there were no plug sockets at the sides of the bed.

I was very surprised by some negative reviews. Maybe I was LUCKY. I had a great overnight stay here. The building is beautiful. The surroundings are also nice. The bedroom was spacious and clean. The bathroom was very good with a large walk-in shower.
It took a while to find reception. I think I used the wedding entrance.

The staff were friendly at the reception. They were helpful with directions to nearby attractions. The check-in process was quick. Assistance with luggage was readily AVAILABLE.

The room included a comfortable bed and a coffee machine. There was a kettle. A large screen tv was also present. A socket located by the bed was a welcome addition.

The restaurant offered a buffet. It was perfectly edible with a selection of dishes. The rice pudding stood OUT. I found it superb. The breakfast service was prompt, and the area was clean.

The hotel's setting provided an atmosphere of tranquility and relaxation. The hotel felt luxurious at an affordable price. I watched the hotel ticking over after a busy period, this was nice.

Everyone was so helpful! The service I received was very nice, and were great. I also loved the historical aspect of the place, and the grounds were beautiful! It was easy to find local food options too. So that was great!
The spa details were a little unclear at first, especially regarding the lockers.

The pool area looked very inviting and well kept, perfect for a relaxing swim and offers a great way to wind down after a day of exploring the surrounding area. I noted that the spa has a sauna and steam room!

friendly staff nice bar lovely grounds good food
The bar area provided a nice space. Staff members were friendly plus cute. I found a good selection of bar drinks and food, that improved my experience. I liked the lovely groundswith a place for a walk.
I found limited mobility difficult in the spa area.

The breakfast had good choices despite being slightly dry this morning, offering multiple options. I enjoyed a generously filled panini roll with a tasty side salad and hefty serving of chips. The panini roll was served promptly.

The gym and swimming pool provide good options for exercise. I found the grounds offered much nature for walks. Staff were helpful plus created a relaxing atmosphere in the spa. It creates a potentially good location for a wedding.

The hotel is a little way outside the village. It is still accessible after a guided walk. Every cafe and pub close early in the village. The hotel offers a convenient alternative for refreshments.
