the spa was larger than spas in other hotels i've seen. the breakfast was abundant with many vegetables and fruits. i appreciated the underground garage.
i found that drinks are not allowed around the pool, a little inconvenient.

The room was spacious and included a full terrace. I particularly enjoyed the relaxing jacuzzi on the terrace. It gave nice views of the swimming pool. The pool itself was refreshingly cool. Staff were friendly and spoke Dutch.
The building looked dated and showed signs of wear. The room and bathroom seemed grimy. Some electrical outlets hung loosely from the wall. It seemed that better days have passed.

The junior suite was spacious. The breakfast selection included many choices and everything tasted fresh. The location is near public transport from Barcelona city center. The grounds have quirky attractive features.
