Slightly Underwhelming Stay
poor insulationweak pressure
I must say, the noise insulation was pretty poor. I could hear my neighbors chatting away as if they were in my own room. the bathroom situation wasn't ideal. The door didn't quite close properly. The shower barely got warm, and the water pressure? Pathetic! Upon complaining, I received a measly discount, almost insulting.

decent stay near the waterfront
convenient locationnorth endcoffee machinehidden feedirt stainsworn furniture
the location was really convenient. i could walk to the north end restaurants easily. the room included a coffee machine (i always appreciate that). the staff were also friendly and willing to help with directions.
the resort fee felt a bit hidden. i wasn't aware of the $35 charge plus taxes until check-in. the white sofas in the lobby had some dirt stains. it did not give a great impression (a bit worn).

thin wallslow pressure
The walls felt thin, so i could hear conversations next door. Not ideal. also, the water pressure in the shower wasn't amazing, a bummer. i mentioned this and got a small refund of 5%. it was like a sarcastic apology more than anything. a decent stay, but those two things kinda brought it down.
